Jon Morton

Pastor

Pastor Jon Morton is a North Carolina native but grew up throughout the Southeast in Virginia, Georgia, as well as both Carolinas.

He preached his first sermon at just 13 years old, proving to be the catalyst by which the Lord called him into vocational, pastoral ministry where he has faithfully served for nearly twenty years.

A graduate of Liberty University and Baptist Theological Seminary, Pastor Jon has earned degrees in the fields of Biblical studies, discipleship, Christian education, and professional ministry.

His greatest loves include his wife and high school sweetheart of more than 15 years, Brittany; as well as their five children Monty, Zoë, Josiah, Seth and Steven. Jon is a voracious reader and writer, and enjoys leading worship, graphic design, and family movie nights.

As a family, the Mortons strive to fulfill their mission to love God, love others, teach the Word and reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

To every congregation and gathering of believers where Pastor Jon is privileged to serve and speak, their family seeks to demonstrate and share that life is not about us…because it’s ALL ABOUT JESUS!

  • Vacation Bible School – Organizer, planner, and operations

Dylan attended Biomedical Engineering at the University of South Carolina in 2017 for one semester.  Dylan realized there was a calling on his life more significant so he moved back to Virginia and realized that God was calling him into full-time ministry.

In 2018 Dylan was accepted into Liberty University School of Divinity pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies and Theology on a full scholarship.

Dylan teaches at South Stafford Christian School; interacting and instilling Christian principles in the school children, while also leading chapel.

In 2020 Dylan filled the role of Pastor Mark Dempsey after his passing.  Dylan leads the worship portion of the service, preaches, and teaches on Wednesday evenings. Dylan’s mission is to fulfill the great commission and reach as many people for him, recognizing that there is a need for his generation and younger to be saved. His age allows him to relate to a younger generation and make them realize that being on fire for the Lord is something we should all strive to do.
